“Your Word I have hidden in my heart, That I may not sin against You.”
The Word of our Living God
Yes, we shall always keep the Word in our hearts, for our own hearts are deceitful and selfish, wanting what is evil and the pleasures of this world. But with the Lord’s Word in our hearts, we are not to fall, but walking in prayer with the Truth, we have equipped ourselves with what the demons can’t even take away, which is The Word of our Living God. Therefore, the children in Christ will not sin against our Lord, because we are protected and have kept the Word close, able to discern what is righteous from the unrighteous, and good from evil. Thus, no powers or temptation will overtake us, even sin, because God’s Word is greater than the snares of sin, and as long as we keep the Word truthfully in our hearts, walking in the Light, we are cleansed from sin and so that we may not sin against our God, knowing what is sin. Though, it is always by Christ’s everlasting mercy we are saved, not by the written law, but His Love that we are able to fully come into salvation, for it is Jesus Christ Who saves us, and not ourselves. Hence, we surrender to God’s good will, and taking off the old and putting on the new, continue to walk in the Light of the Living God. Amen.
