The Word of God.

The Chosen Generation, the Royal Priesthood, The Holy Nation, God's Special People are those of us who have put our faith in Christ the God-Man, us who have been united to him in Holy Baptism, and who make up his One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. The darkness is the life of sin and worldliness, the life that leads to death, which is eternal separation from God, and God's marvelous light is The Gospel of Jesus Christ, preserved by the Apostles and Apostolic Tradition. The lesson here is that we must always remember our Baptismal Promises and our Faith in Christ, and actively participate in the Life of Christ. We are to proclaim the praises of him who delivered us out of sin, forgave us of our sins, and destroyed our greatest enemy, which is death itself. You have been chosen by God to be with him, to be united with him, to partake of his Divine Nature (2 Peter 1:4), and to have eternal life with him in great Love, forever and ever. So live out your Baptismal Promises, and renew your Baptismal Promises grounded in your Faith in Christ, avoiding sin at all costs, choosing to be intimate and loving with God, and living every moment of your day in intimacy with God, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
